One of my friends had been experiencing some very difficult times but after several months I noticed significant changes in her attitude, ability to look at life and handle its challenges in a much more positive way. She actually looked like a different person because she was much more confident, less stressed and much happier. I asked her how she was making such positive strides in her life and she referred me to Marilyn O’Malley. I was warned that I would “be doing the work” and not just talking about my problems.
Working with Marilyn has been a godsend for me. I have been going though a very stressful time in my life and was feeling overwhelmed, exhausted,depressed,paralyzed with fear, having panic attacks and not knowing which way to turn.
Marilyn is helping me get in touch with who I really am and honoring myself and my feelings. I am now getting to understand the things that I am passionate about and what I really want in life. I am exchanging old beliefs for the belief that I am worthy to live an abundant, happy life full of love and joy and I can accomplish what I really want to do in my life with ease. Marilyn’s coaching has helped me forge a new direction for my life and helped my jump out of my rut! I’ve always had lots of interests and I’ve been able to move from one career to the next very easily, but I’ve reached the point in my life where I really wanted to figure out what excited me the most and try and get a bit more depth and focus in my life.
I had all sorts of opportunities in front of me and I was paralyzed by too many choices. I had spent almost two years trying to figure out what I really wanted to do with my life and I had reached the point where I was just spinning my wheels and not making any sort of progress. I had spent months reading books, doing exercises, talking with friends and family, but I wasn’t getting anywhere. I was frustrated and didn’t know where to turn to gain some clarity and finally reach my “a-ha moment.”
A friend gave me Marilyn’s card and I met with her to see if she could help me look at my situation a bit differently. I was a bit skeptical about the Passion Test at first, but once I completed it and we discussed the results my thinking started to become more focused.
My passions weren’t specifically job related but they allowed me to envision the type of lifestyle I really wanted. By bringing my attention to the lifestyle I was interested in creating the different career paths I was considering began to either adapt or drop out of contention. The Passion Test results allowed me to focus on what I really wanted from life and several career paths became apparent and felt right.
Marilyn then discussed several of these career paths with me and we got to the heart of why I was stuck. I had known all along what I really wanted to do, but I was so afraid of changing my current (albeit unsatisfactory) lifestyle that I wasn’t allowing myself to move forward. Once we figured out that time management and spending my time on projects that had meaning to me was the most important thing for me to focus on I felt as though a weight had been lifted.
Thanks to Marilyn and her coaching I’m now excited about moving forward with my life! Her coaching was a wonderful experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone!

When I first came to Marilyn in the Spring of 2009, I felt completely lost and powerless. I had graduated from college the year before, and by doing so, felt as if the foundation on which I constructed my life had disappeared.
